Yesterday mum headed down to Shoreham for some olive picking. Mr Jones and I decided to go along for the ride and spent a lovely afternoon by the sea. I love the sea! I'm not sure exactly why, but it's a favourite place to be, beside the sea…

Yay God!

Just a little yay God for the rain today! Has been crazy weather - really strong winds! Kinda cool, kinda scary. Hopefully the end of the drought not far away...

"guilty pleasures"

A few weeks ago a lovely woman from my biblestudy launched a study with an opening question about "guilty pleasures" - things we are ashamed of, but love. At the time the best I could think of was how much I love watching Gilmore Girls. This morning as I walked home from the gym feeling great both from my work out and from working out as Robbie played on the gym stereo, I decided my guilty pleasure is daggy pop. Embarrassed as I am to admit, there are times when I just love it! No matter how much mr jones rolls his eyes at me, Robbie, Keithy and the Dixie Chicks hold a special place in my heart...

Like a sheep, I've decided to follow the flock and try my hand at blogging... I do so enjoy reading my friends' blogs that it seems apt to try it out for myself. I'm prompted too by the pending departure of one of my dearest friends for foreign shores - perhaps blogging shall be a useful tool for friendship across the seas?
